Community based treatment enables people who are struggling with severe, persistent, mental illnesses ease of access to treatment, rehabilitation and support services. These services can be provided through a variety of social, health and mental health agencies in or around Marblehead. - Samaritans of Massachusetts offers free, SafePlace meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from
- 6:30-8:00 p.m. for anyone in Massachusetts who has lost a loved one to suicide.These meetings are free, via Zoom (video), and require sign-up in order to receive the link.
- Hospices and Hospitals may also offer their bereavement support such as individual counseling and support groups to families of patients they have served, or to patients of their hospital.

Care Dimensions - Care Dimensions' Greater Boston Office in Waltham serves all neighborhoods of Boston as well as many towns; Care Dimensions' Bertalon Center for Grief and Healing in Danvers serves the North Shore
- For children impacted by loss, Care Dimensions offers phone consultation to parents/guardians, and may be able to provide free video counseling if clinically appropriate. These services are free of charge.
- Care Dimensions is also offering numerous free virtual (by video) support groups for adults right now. Single-meeting groups include Loss due to Covid-19 and Workshop for the Newly Bereaved. 6- or 8-week groups include Loss of Spouse/Partner, Loss of Adult Child, General Grief and Loss, and Young Widowed. The organization also offers monthly Caregiver Support Groups.
